Yet another reason to not trust the FBI
I was raised by a cop and that meant being raised with a fair bit of respect for law enforcement. That included the FBI which, despite what Hollywood claims, a lot of local cops had respect for.
They might not like them swooping in, but they didn’t hate them, either.
But over the years, that respect has faded into nothingness. The FBI has been weaponized against certain segments of the American population, which is terrible all on its own, but it gets worse.
