I was never going to be a scientist. I like science and I respect the scientific method, but I could never be a scientist myself. That’s because of my old enemy: Math.
For whatever reason, math didn’t click for me to any degree until I was an adult and by then, my interest in being a scientist had long passed.
But it seems that math isn’t the only thing that would work against me today. It seems my ability to think critically would hamper me, too.
