Why Florida is on the right path with new bill
The state of Florida gets a lot of grief. Then again, since most of the “Florida Man” stories are, in fact, true, there’s a reason the state gets that grief.
However, there’s a lot to like about the state. The beaches are nice, for one thing, and the weather is pretty comfortable all year, so long as you avoid hurricanes.
And they have some lawmakers down there that seem to have their heads screwed on straight.
I say that because a new bill is just the kind of law that I fear is needed if there’s a hope in hell of retaking academia.
