Education is one of those fields I’ve followed fairly closely over the years. Having two kids in school—public, at the time—made it hard for me not to follow things on that level. As a writer and commentator, I had to know what was happening.
That reached an interesting point during the lockdowns.
You see, teachers’ unions kept trying to keep schools closed despite vaccines they insisted everyone should get and despite all evidence that it would be safe to do so. They didn’t want to listen.
And schools remained closed in many cases.
Which is why I want to talk a bit about those unions today.
