People go missing. We routinely see reports of someone disappearing. They’re typically either young or female, though there are exceptions from time to time.
Yet there’s a disproportionate number of them that are apparently young, attractive, white females. This disparity has led to a certain degree of controversy.
I started thinking about it when I read a story earlier about a missing person and some issues regarding these cases, including “Missing White Woman Syndrome.”
