Non-alcoholic beverages such as beer and liquor serve a purpose. They allow people who either can’t or don’t want to drink to take part in the social conventions around drinking.
And really, there are reasons why someone might want to do that. Alcohol can negatively impact exercise recovery, for example. Others just don’t want to risk becoming an alcoholic or they want to partake but have to drive home.
Yet it seems some young people also drink these beverages, and someone is upset that kids might be enjoying themselves.
