I don’t have an issue with drag shows. They’ve been around for decades and most people never batted an eye at them. After all, they were for adults and attendance was completely voluntary.
No one cared.
Then drag performers started to want to interact with kids and people got a little riled up. It started with drag story hours and then it went from there.
If only drag queens reading stories were the worst of what we see right now.
Yet we’re told that there’s nothing to fear. Some say drag has been part of children’s entertainment for years, citing things from Bugs Bunny to Mrs. Doubtfire. No one is coming for our kids.
Someone didn’t get the memo, though.
