The terrifying reality behind Code Pink
Back in the day, the Soviet Union backed a lot of leftist organizations. The more extreme, the better for them, and there was a legitimate reason why they did. These were communist groups, after all. Why get into a shooting war to bring communism to the United States if they could get us to vote for it instead?
With the fall of the USSR, some would have thought that was over.
I don’t know why, though. there were still plenty of places with a vested interest in seeing the US adopt policies similar to their own.
In fact, we have one concrete example: Code Pink.
