The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. The former are idealists acting from highest motives for the greatest good of the greatest number. The latter are surly curmudgeons, suspicious and lacking in altruism. But they are more comfortable neighbors than the other sort.” - Robert Heinlein
The quote above is one of the most observant I’ve ever come across. Regardless of the labels one might choose to use, it really boils down to those who want to control us and those who don’t.
And a recent move seeking to “monitor” or cars—and cut them off whether we want them cut off or not—is a prime example of how those who want to control us are seeking to do just that.
