The more we look, the worse it gets
When COVID-19 made it to American shores, it looked like it could be pretty bad, at least for many Americans.
Elected officials, most of whom were not experts on healthcare, turned to those who claimed they were. Many blindly followed advice and many others tempered that advice into something less draconian.
Regardless, what we saw was a departure of from pandemic responses of the past. Instead of just quarantining the sick, everyone got that treatment.
And three years later, we can look back and see how it went. And the more we look, the worse it gets.
