In post-World War II America, the word “atomic” was a buzzword attached to just about everything to make it sound cooler. It basically worked a lot like the word “quantum” does in today’s world.
However, nuclear was a marvelous breakthrough. While we may have invented it to destroy entire cities, we harnessed it in a way that has great potential for mankind.
Nuclear power is amazing. Oh, it’s not perfect and when it goes sideways, it goes sideways badly, but it doesn’t do that with any regularity and we know how to make reactors safer than ever.
But still, there are a lot of people who hate nuclear power. What’s more, many of them openly advocate for green energy.
Yet there’s only one viable green alternative out there that could meet our energy demands now and scale up to meet them in the future.
And I’m not talking about solar panels.
