I’m always and completely amazed at just how the “worldly” progressives can be so ethnocentric in their thinking.
A prime example of this is Nikole Hannah-Jones, creator of the infamous 1619 Project, a bit of “journalism” that was really nothing more than an attempt at revisionist history.
Seriously, I think my quotation mark keys are going to get a workout today.
Anyway, Hannah-Jones, a privileged individual from Iowa who graduated from Notre Dame and the UNC School of Journalism—something that costs a great deal of money, to say the least—has decided that despite being able to attend some of the better schools in the country, she’s oppressed.
And she’s willing to tell someone who escaped actual and literal oppression that she had it worse.
