We give up a lot of privacy in the modern world. Social media doesn’t just consist of what we opt to share with the world, after all. A lot of companies track what we do and, with our cell phones, where we go.
It’s troubling, but I also understand there are reasons for this. Knowing I go to Home Depot regularly, for example, means that they know to advertise home improvement things to me.
I don’t like it, but I get it.
