During COVID, there was a concern about people going to too many places and doing too many things. We were locked down from all but essential activities and we were encouraged to conduct as many of those as possible from home.
For example, some thought we should do all our grocery shopping by having them delivered to our homes, as an example.
To help facilitate this, the government changed a lot of stupid rules. One of those was the restrictions and limits on telemedicine.
Suddenly, people could see the doctor of their choice pretty much anywhere. It was great and gave patients a lot of options they wouldn’t ordinarily have.
This worked great for us because my daughter needed a specialist and the closest was a nearly two-hour drive away.
It seems that sometimes, the government can get it right. Now, they’re trying to fix that mistake.
