Is nothing sacred?

A few weeks ago, I was joking about how I wish I’d gone into writing about sports or movies, rather than politics. Things were spicy, to say the least, and there are times I wish I weren’t covering something nearly as incendiary.

But it’s what I do.

Tilting At Windmills is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

It’s not what every writer or journalist does, though, which is fine. It’s great, even. We shouldn’t be about politics all of the time. We need breaks from that, and if that break is sports, movies, cars, or literally anything else, then so much the better.

The problem is, nothing is sacred to the left. There’s nothing free from their taint, and they’re damn sure going to make sure you know about it.
