I have ADHD.
This isn’t who I am, but it’s an important aspect of who I am because it impacts my life significantly. As such, I tend to try and be an advocate for those who deal with this condition.
Yet just existing with it isn’t reasonable. We who have it must seek out ways to live with this condition that doesn’t require the entire world to revolve around us.
One way many do that is via medication.
A popular choice for this is one called Adderall. However, there’s a problem. There’s been a shortage of the drug for several months now. This is a drug that many people need to lead functional lives, and they can’t get it.
And government rules are at least partly to blame.
