When my son was getting ready for college, I warned him to be cautious about dating a fellow student. I’d covered a lot of cases where women claimed rape or something like that, only to find out they were simply jilted lovers. The standard of evidence was ridiculously low and men couldn’t face their accusers. They really just had to prove their innocence.
But dating in college is difficult for a lot of people. Young men are struggling to connect with young women, and in some places, it’s worse than others.
A professor at Berkeley is under fire, though, for giving some particularly sound advice.
