Don't get alarmed over vague terms you aren't meant to understand
The headlines sound startling. They include terms that you might not have heard before but seem obvious. It paints a picture that is terrifying or horrifying, if not both to some degree or another.
Yet that “obvious” term is often nothing of the sort. It’s meant to paint that picture for you. It’s meant to make you think a problem is worse than it actually is.
