I’ve spilled quite a bit of digital ink on electric vehicles. The short version is that I like the idea of them, but they’re not remotely ready to replace internal-combustion engines. They just lack the range or the support, really.
Especially since they’re expensive, all things considered.
However, I’ve pretty much operated under the belief that the goal was to replace ICE vehicles with EVs.
That belief may have been wrong.
