There are, obviously, a lot of things I disagree with the Democratic Party on. One of those is their view of children and the family. For quite a while now, they’ve expressed opinions that are all variances on a theme. That theme? That the government has an interest in how your kids are raised.
In theory, I get the argument. We want well-adjusted, well-educated people as a society that doesn’t just come about spontaneously. That’s a matter of upbringing, which is why many feel the government should be more proactive in matters involving children beyond their safety.
Yet recent comments by President Joe Biden have kind of tipped their hand on this issue.
