A strange sort of consistency
One thing I want to see out of people is consistency. I want to see them maintain basic principles from which they derive their political views in light of different things.
For example, they defend free speech for people they don’t actually like.
But there’s a downside to consistency. Some entities are consistently stupid, and I came across a prime example of just that sort of thing.
You know how anti-gun folks keep wanting to blame gun manufacturers for violent crime even though we know that criminals aren’t buying guns lawfully? Well, someone took this “logic” into a bizarre sort of direction.
